These are
pictures of us stocking fingerling crappie in Lake Hamilton.
Transported all the way from the Charlie Craig State Fish Hatchery
in Northwest Arkansas,
we helped the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission
stock 25,000
young-of-year (YOY) crappie in October, 2011.
Then in November 2011 due to high production this year, we helped
stock an additional 50,000 fingerling crappie.

These
baby crappie were a mix of sizes from one to four inches.

The
small fish are easily shocked and had to be tempered to the lake's
water temperature

Using
three one-hundred gallon aerated tanks, we stock these fish over our
bamboo habitats
supported by the Sport Fish Restoration (SRF) Fund
in about twenty spots from the White Oak Basin to Bull Bayou

We are working
hard for our lake, for you and for future generations to fish Lake
Hamilton.
